What is STEAM? Most of us are familiar with STEM, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, but STEAM? We’ve taken the useful core strategy that is STEM and enhanced it to be more complete and inclusive and absolutely representative of our industry. That A in an otherwise familiar acronym stands for Arts.
STEAM, the very acronym is in and of itself a collaboration. The film, television and media industry encompass each and every one of these powerful fields and wouldn’t exist with out each and every one of them.
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. These five fields share an emphasis on innovation, problem-solving, critical thinking and creativity. STEAM and Collaboration are the essentials of our core at PBIFF.
